Realm Help Guide

Once you have received your invitation to Realm here are the steps to follow.

• When you receive your email invitation, click on the create an account link. 

• Follow the directions to enter your email address and create a password unique to you.

• You will then receive a confirmation email. Click the link in the email to complete the setup.

• Sign in with your email address and password.

After your initial login, Realm will automatically recognize you.

Using Realm:

• First Step - Update Your Profile 

  • The first time you log in, you should check that your family's profile information is up to date. 

  • Click on your name at the top right of your screen.

  • Choose My Profile.

  • If you want to update a field, click on the Edit Profile box, above your profile.

  • Update your information and click Save.

  • Your family members are listed to the right of your profile. You should update each family member.

  • You can add a family member by clicking on the + Add Family button.

  • To inactivate a family member, contact a church administrator.

• Second Step - Manage Account Privacy

Realm gives you control over who can see your contact information.

• Click on your name at the top right of your screen and 

• Choose Manage Privacy or

• Click on the Manage Privacy box above your profile.

• Choose your level of privacy and click Save.

How to Participate using the Left-Hand Menu

• Communications

The communications drop down will show you the News and Inbox with information from Sacred Heart and your groups.

• Events

Select the event that you are interested in, to find out more information and to sign up for an event.

• Giving

Review your giving history.

My Groups

Groups will list the groups that you belong to. Select a group to see:

• Group's News

• Group Participants

• Group Info

  Realm Connect:

  After you have created your Realm account on your PC or tablet, stay connected to the Christ Church Community wherever you go by downloading the free Realm Connect app for iPhone and Android devices. Use it to communicate with your ministries or groups, RSVP to events, update profile information, and more. Realm makes it easier for us to connect throughout the week, month and year. Your account information is the same on the mobile device.

  
  

  Download the Realm Connect app on your:

  • iPhone (use the App Store)

  • Android (use Google Play)

    
    

Recommended Operating Systems:

Some older operating systems cannot use the latest browser versions. If your operating system cannot use the latest version of your browser, update the operating system first. This will not only give you access to the best features in Realm, but will help ensure your security on the Internet.

• Operating System (IOS) iPhone, iPad, IPod 13.1 or higher

• Android phones 6.0 or higher

• Mac Computers 10.14 or higher

• Windows Computers Windows 8 or higher

Password Requirements Your Realm password must:

• Be 8 or more characters long. There is no maximum limit on length. The longer a password, the more secure it is. Each additional character makes it exponentially harder to crack.

• Meet 3 of the following additional requirements: 

  • Contain at least 1 uppercase character.

  • Contain at least 1 lowercase character.

  • Contain at least 1 symbol (!,@,#,$,%,^, etc.).

  • Contain at least 1 number.

  • Contain 15 or more characters.

  
  

• Your password cannot:

  • Contain any 3-or-more-character sequence from your username or email. If, for instance, your username is JeffAnderson@jeffsemail.com, your password could not contain "jeff", "ander", etc.

  • Include 3 or more repeating characters (222, etc.)

  • Include 3 or more characters in sequence (123, 321, abc, etc.)
