Are you looking for a volunteer opportunity this summer?  Our partner agencies need help.  Many are family opportunities, meaning children old enough to follow directions without constant supervision. For more information and sign up, see listed contacts.

 

FAMILY OPPORTUNITIES

Cameron Community Ministries, 48 Cameron Street, Rochester 14606

•   Specific summer need: make sandwiches on Thursdays for summer kids program field trips on Fridays. 

•   On-going opportunities:  helping prepare lunches M-F, sort clothing donation, assist with the summer or afterschool kids programs.

St. Mark’s and St. John’s Episcopal Church, 1245 Culver Road, Rochester 14609

•   Specific summer needs:  volunteers to help weed and harvest produce from their Gardens of E.D.E.N., neighborhood community gardens.  Second and fourth Saturdays, June - September, 10 am - Noon

Family Promise of Rochester, 142 Webster Avenue, Rochester 14609

•   Second Saturday of the Month 10 am - 1 pm. Organizing, cleaning, painting, out-door cleanup.

•   Organize a neighborhood food drive

•   Deliver collected food to PFC, designated collection boxes around town or

•   Take food to Pittsford Rotary Food Drive, 1st Saturday of each month at Sutherland HS bus loop.

ADULT OPPORTUNITIES
