OUTREACH LENT COLLECTIONS

For the past several years, the Outreach Committee has sponsored collections for our agencies during Lent.  We are embracing the idea of giving of ourselves during Lent, instead of or along with the idea of giving up something.  We hope this idea draws you deeper into Lent than giving up chocolate, or that extra latte. 

We will collect items in-kind, listed below, or you can donate money to Outreach- Lent.  Donated money will go to purchase takeout supplies for the Cameron lunch program, and more of what the other agencies requested.

We will collect requested food items between Feb 18- March 18:

A Meal and More:

Larger sizes (20 oz, Bulk store sizes,) desirable:

Extra virgin olive oil

Stock/broth (chicken, beef, vegetable)

Italian salad dressing

Cavatappi pasta

Coffee

Pittsford Food Cupboard:

All food supplies should be in regular, not large sizes.

Canned peas

Canned mixed vegetables

Canned pineapple

Boxed potatoes (mashed, scalloped, au gratin)

Starting March 22-April 19 we will collect for:

Veteran’s Outreach Center

Person Center Housing Options (PCHO)

Socks, men’s and women’s

Personal hygiene items regular size

Feminine hygiene supplies
