Altar Guild

Christ Church’s altar guild is open to all and we would love to have more volunteers join in fellowship and good humor. Christ Church is blessed with wonderful people who share their time and talents.

What we do: The altar guild sets up the altar for Sunday services, maintains the candles and linens, polishes the brass and silver, and makes sure that everything is at its best and brightest every week. We also take the altar flowers and rearrange them into smaller bouquets that get delivered to parishioners.

We decorate the church for Christmas and Holy Week, and prepare for weddings, funerals, and other special services throughout the year.

We welcome new members who want to make more connections at Christ Church. We have a wonderful on-the-job training which is filled with new words and neat objects and the commitment is as varied as you like.

Our ministry is full of fun as we offer laughter, and conversation.
