Worship

The first cornerstone of our faith is Worship.  Our worship services are rooted in Scripture and centuries-old tradition, and relevant to how you live your life today.  We have two Sunday services during most of the year, and a casual outdoor service during the summer months.  Several times throughout the year, we have additional worship opportunities in the form of Choral Evensong

All our regular Sunday worship services are Eucharistic, where Communion is offered.  All are invited to receive the consecrated bread and wine, including small children. (Gluten free communion wafers are always available.)  If for any reason you would prefer not to receive Communion, you are welcome to approach the altar rail and place your arms across your chest to indicate you would like to receive a Blessing.

We hope to resume our traditional two service Sundays in September 2021. For the summer of 2021 we will offer one service at 9:00 am with no Sunday School or Nursery Care.

We regularly offer two services on Sundays.

8:00 am:    This is a said service of Holy Communion with traditional language (Rite I) and sermon with a hymn at the end of the service.

10:00 am    This service uses contemporary language (Rite II) and includes music by the Christ Church Choir and Choristers, Holy Communion, and sermon. We offer childcare and Sunday School at the 10:00 am service.

In addition, we offer Choral Evensong several times of year on Sunday at 5:00 pm.

Midweek Service: We hold a midweek informal service of Holy Communion in the chancel on Wednesday at 9:15 am throughout the year.
