Position: Full-time Associate Priest for Christ Episcopal Church, Pittsford, NY
Christ Episcopal Church Pittsford is seeking a full-time associate priest (or a transitional deacon). Christ Church is a vibrant and thriving suburban parish outside of Rochester, New York. The congregation numbers about 1100 individuals with approximately 300 on Sundays during the program year. Christ Church has a strong music program, a large Sunday School (preK-12), and a well-attended adult formation program. We are known for traditional worship, inspiring music, and enlightened theology. We work to make our faith relevant to parishioners’ lives.
We are seeking an Associate Priest who will collaborate with and support the Priest in Charge, the staff, and lay leaders. The Associate Priest will share in liturgical leadership, preaching, and pastoral care. The Associate Priest will be the primary clergy liaison to the Director of Children’s Ministry and will lead the Youth Group. Newly ordained persons are encouraged to apply.
