OUTREACH
Our Outreach Committee's mission is to serve Christ by encouraging parishioners
to give time, talent and financial support to those in need. The Committee
organizes a wide variety of projects throughout the year that are open to all
parish members including:
Helping the Children
- Tutor children at Rochester's Martin Luther King School 9
- Volunteer as a reading partner at Cameron Community Ministries after school program
- Contribute items to the School Supply Drive
Feeding the Hungry
- Provide a dinner and companionship for people served by Cameron Community Ministries
- Serve lunch at Meal & More, a downtown soup kitchen
- Distribute nutritious food for Rochester's School 9 children to take home for their April break
- Contribute Thanksgiving and Christmas food baskets
- Support the Pittsford Food Cupboard's breakfast shelf
- Serve tea to residents of the Episcopal Church Home
Providing Shelter
- Help build a Habitat for Humanity House with seven other faith communities
Sharing Our Treasure
- Choose an ornament from the Angel Tree and contribute a Christmas gift for a child or adult
- Donate clothing to the fall Clothing Drive
Supported Organizations
Our church also gives generous financial support to many local, national and
international organizations. The Outreach Committee makes recommendations to
the Vestry on the allocation of these funds. Some of the organizations we
