Summer Sunday School Workshops Minimize

Our "Wild Bible Adventures" series started on June 20th and continues every Sunday through the summer.  Pre-K through 6th graders are welcome to join us during the 10 am service; you don't need to be here every week, just come when you can.  Using Big Idea's Veggie Tales, we will learn to trust God as we learn lessons from Joseph and Paul.  Every week will be an adventure with puppets, games, music and more!  Adult and teen volunteers are needed every week.  Please sign up on the bulletin board outside of the dining room.  If you would like more information, contact Laura O'Neill at laura@christchurchpittsford.com.

Prayers we teach our children
There are three prayers our children learn in our Sunday School program. The Lord’s Prayer, the 23rd Psalm, and the Nicene Creed are basic prayers of our church, and provide a foundation for a lifetime of faith. We encourage parents to talk about, study, and say these prayers with your children at home.

Ever thought about becoming a Sunday School Teacher? Minimize

Teaching Sunday School is one of the most rewarding services you can provide to God and your church.   We are blessed with many “veteran” teachers, but we are always looking for new volunteers.  You don’t need any special background in theology or education; we will provide you with training, curriculum, and support, and we try to have two teachers in each classroom every Sunday.  We also schedule teachers for units of about three weeks every few months, so you can still attend worship regularly.  If you would be willing to volunteer for this important ministry, please contact Laura O’Neill.  We can use your help at any grade level, and we are particularly looking for volunteers for our 5th & 6th grade, Jr. High, and Sr. High classes.
